How to save time in Adobe Illustrator using 2 Scripts (Easy Tutorial)

Hello, as you know, our time is precious. Especially the artist's time. So I separated 2 scripts and links to save your time in Adobe Illustrator. The 2 cited are: ReplaceItems & Randomus

This is one of my designs using Scripts: 

First of all, download it: Randomus, ReplaceItem . These scripts were made by Alexander Ladygin.

Let's start!

 To make it easier, we will create the grids (and you already know how to create, move on to the next step)

Open your Adobe Illustrator;

Add a Rectangle, for this, find the icon or press the M key;

Left click on your artboard; 

I will use 10 in x 10 in size, but you can use any size;

Now we will add the grids, you go on: Object>Path>Split into Grid...

Select the amount you want, in this case I will put 10 Rows and 10 Columns;

He will stay like this, now we can proceed;

ReplaceItems e Randomus

ReplaceItems:

Duplicate some rectangles, change the colors and make the formats you want (preferably leave them in the similar sizes of the grids)

I'll group them together and bring them forward;

Select grids and shapes;

Now we will go to: File>Scripts>replaceitems

Leave the same settings and click Ok;

He'll stay like this:

Note: Always the shapes have to be above the grids, for the scripts to work properly. Stay tuned! :)

Randomus:

I will reuse this design of the Replace items, but you can use other shapes.

Without windings, his process will basically randomize sizes, rotation, opacity etc... For that, I will go to:

Select the shapes and go to: File>Scripts>randomus;

This screen will appear, I will leave these settings and I will randomize only the size;

Click "Scale" and then click Ok;

Ending
